M2K Consultoria, Lda., NIPC 517 063 352, is responsible for processing the personal data collected through the Moneycode website.

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights: privacidade@moneycode.pt or Rua Interior do Europarque, 4520-103 Santa Maria da Feira. If a Data Protection Officer is appointed, their contact information will be published here.

Data, Purposes, and Legal Basis

We process identification and contact information, professional and business data, browsing and security data, information submitted via forms, and, where applicable, information necessary for project analysis, due diligence, contracting, fraud prevention, and compliance with legal obligations.

Personal data is processed to respond to contact requests and evaluate collaboration or investment opportunities, based on pre-contractual measures and Moneycode’s legitimate interest.

It is also processed to create and manage accounts, perform contracted services, and ensure necessary communications with users, clients, investors, and developers, based on the performance of the contract.

Moneycode may also process data to comply with tax, accounting, regulatory, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF), security, and other applicable legal obligations, pursuant to compliance with a legal obligation.

The data may also be used to prevent fraud, protect systems and the platform, manage security incidents, and exercise or defend rights in administrative, judicial, or extrajudicial proceedings, based on Moneycode’s legitimate interest and/or compliance with legal obligations.

Finally, the data may be processed to send marketing communications about relevant services, opportunities, content, and initiatives. This processing will be carried out based on consent, when legally required, or on Moneycode’s legitimate interest, when permissible, and the right to object or unsubscribe will always be guaranteed.

The lack of necessary data may prevent us from responding to requests, creating an account, analyzing a project, or providing services.

Recipients and Transfers

The data may be accessed by authorized employees, consultants, and subcontractors who provide technology, hosting, security, communications, accounting, legal advisory, identity verification, fraud prevention, risk analysis, or payment services, always subject to confidentiality and appropriate instructions.

Data may be disclosed to authorities, courts, regulatory bodies, or entities responsible for preventing and combating money laundering when required by law. Moneycode prioritizes processing within the European Economic Area; transfers to third countries will only occur with an appropriate legal mechanism in place.

Conservation and Rights

Data is retained for the period necessary to fulfill the applicable purposes and comply with legal time limits. Contractual, accounting, regulatory, complaint-related, and fraud prevention data may be retained for the periods required by law. Once these periods have expired, the data is deleted, anonymized, or securely archived when a legal basis for retention remains.

In accordance with the law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent. You may file a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD). We will respond within the legally prescribed timeframe; we may request confirmation of your identity, and retention obligations may still apply.
